This week was mostly day job work, but I had a lovely time out on Saturday to meet up with the lovely Kelly Orr, who’s recently moved over here from California (because the Scottish Borders is obviously where you go when you get sick of sun ;o) ) We met up at New Lanark, which is a museum about half way between us, and talked a LOT (well I did *ahem*) and walked a bit, and ate quite a bit. Other than that I’ve only been able to do some boring admin prep for the retreat, and to pull some fabric for a new project, thanks to a template that will be arriving with one of my retreaters. I’m starting on a ‘Use what you’ve got’ kick, and breaking into those stashed precious bundles!
Finishes This Week:
You’ve got to be joking!
In Progress This Week:
This is my fabric pull for the new project, lovely and bright and saturated, just how I like it :o) There’s a full bundle of Melody Miller’s Picnic line for Cotton + Steel, plus the basics bundles that I picked up at Market in 2014 when C+S launched!
To Be Worked On This Week:
- I need to get past the day job issue that’s tying me up and relax a bit!
- Get the last of my retreat patterns written up
- Get the last of my retreat prep sewing done
Hope you have a great week!
Just for fun … I broke my iPhone screen . My sound doesn’t work . And now “translate” comes up on yiur post Katie . I didn’t realise it was in the Scottish vernacular!
