I’m sure you’ll all be shocked to hear that due to the little matter of a retreat taking up 4 whole days of the last week, I haven’t actually sewn anything this week! I’ll tell you all about the retreat soon, and show you the 32 clamshells that I cut (hey, I was teaching lol) but I’m hoping that a sewing day in Killearn this weekend will give me a little more to show you next week.
Finishes This Week:
Ha! Hahahahahaha
In Progress This Week:
I’m using some of this lot below for my next Quilt Now project. I’m just trying to work out how to draw up a pattern piece, but I’m a little knackered, so my brain isn’t entirely with it!
The Picnic bundle in this lot is not cut into 12″ Clammys, hoping to get the basics done on Saturday, just waiting for my 13″ rotating cutting mat to arrive (I borrowed Anna’s for the first lot at the retreat) and also some more 28mm rotary cutter blades:
To Be Worked On This Week:
- Finishing the QN project
- Cutting all the Clammys
- I bought a load of paper scissors for the retreat and they need a storage bag, I think one of Sew Sweetness’ new Minikins will work perfectly
Hope the retreat went well and that you’re not too shattered after it!
I hope the retreat went well and you’re not too shattered after it!
Oops, sorry about that! It said comment had failed so I retyped and sent it, only to find the first one hadn’t failed after all!
I think you deserve to go on a retreat run by someone else after all your hard work, both before and during the weekend. It was a great event in a great location and attended by great people – great job!!
You retreated with one of my favorite people (PJ)! So glad you got the time to sew. Loved the clammy photos!
