Happy new year everybody!
I hope you had a fabulous festive season and are all geared up for an amazing year :o) We spent Christmas down with my parents, then I brought my gran back home for new year, also bringing back my dad’s cold and cough which has now settled into a chest infection. So basically I’ve spent a snotty, coughy, snoozy last week, and not sewn as much as I’d have liked. Oh well, at least I still have a week before I have to head back to the day job, maybe I can still sew all the things!
Finishes This Fortnight:
I got a new QN project finished, but as usual it’s secret squirrel I’m afraid.
In Progress This Fortnight:
This lot is now a complete top, but as I’m not at the day job, and it’s also storm season, so blowing a hoolie and peeing down, I haven’t been able to visit my pet carpark for its beauty shot. I’m going to send it out to be quilted, so it will be a while before it shows up here again I’m afraid. The outer part is navy blue BTW, not grotty grey work carpet tile ;o)
To Be Worked On This Week:
- I’m determined to get ahead of myself with QN projects, so I may not have a huge deal to share next week
- I have a bunch of baby clams from the leftovers of the big quilt, so I might start that
Hope you all have a great week!
Enjoy your week and maybe you will feel better soon too.
So relieved that your clams are bordered in navy and not “grotty grey work carpet tile”. But we have to make do sometimes. Wishing you wellness for the rest of the year.
Happy New Year! I hope you feel better fast. Love the clam quilt!
