Oh man, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind week, and I completely lost track of what day it was! Between working 2 weekends ago, having a big work do a couple of days/nights last week, and being out on Sunday with friends it totally felt like Friday yesterday (good job I’m off work for a week, maybe I’ll have worked it out by next Wednesday!) Anyway, I had a lovely day on Sunday with a group of local sewing friends at the Artist Textiles: Picasso To Warhol exhibition at New Lanark. I have to say that the title of the exhibition was a little disingenuous, given that Picasso and Warhol made up maybe 10% of the exhibition, but we’ll allow them a little dramatic licence! I’ll post some pics from the exhibition in my next post, and if you’re in the Central Belt before the end of April it’s worth popping in to take a look.
I picked up this fab bag in the shop at New Lanark, the colours just sang to me, but the text/setting was quite appropriate too!
Finishes This Week:
This project is now done and on its way to QN Towers:
In Progress This Week:
The thread to tie my not-so-mini arrived. I haven’t had a chance to do it yet, so if you want to weigh in with a colour opinion because you didn’t get a chance on IG, now’s your chance!
To Be Worked On This Week:
I have absolutely no plans, I’m just going to have a play and see where the fabric takes me :o)
Hope you have a fab week and the bunny brings you lots of chocolate!
That’s a super mini! I’d use the grey or the teale but I think they’d all look great!
