A few weeks ago I was asked to make a video on sewing pinless curves. I’m sorry it took quite so long to get here, but I hope this shows what you were after. It was my first attempt at shooting with two cameras, so fair to say it may be a little rough around the edges, apologies for that!
If you have any questions, please let me know!
Great video, I wish it had been around last August when I started the double wedding ring quilt. It would have saved me some serious time spent pinning and prevented the numerous jabs. I’ve only recently started using starch on the fabrics when working on any blocks where the pieces are cut on the bias which is something I should have done to the pieces at the beginning of aforementioned quilt. For someone who has been sewing for as long as I have you’d think I’d already know these things. ;o)
Thanks so much for the video! I don’t attempt curves very often, but this really helps (I hate pinning!). And the starch definitely works wonders in keeping the fabric from shifting out of shape.
I haven’t seen these done this way before. It looks very accurate! Thanks for the video.
Awesome! Thank you!
