Whew, the emergency Sew Now project went off in the post on Friday afternoon, the pattern and photos were sent on Friday night, and I more or less gave myself the rest of the weekend off!  I spent Saturday morning/early afternoon at the hairdressers, and Sunday afternoon taking my gran to a lovely Bake Off For Cancer cake sale that a friend was having.  The only sewing I did attempt resulted in the pieces curling up at the cutting stage, so while they’re hanging out under a heavy object flattening out, I’ve started tackling the conversion of all my past Quilt Now patterns into PDFs for those of you that may have missed them the first time around.  We may be some time…  In the meantime, I’ll be playing in Killearn this Saturday, gotta love a day of sewing with friends :o)

Finishes This Week:

This is now a thing, and with a bunch of other things at SN Towers:

In Progress This Week:

On Saturday afternoon I had a play in Illustrator and came up with this little collection of fun luggage tags.  Then I cut the car/train/plane ones out of vinyl, but as the vinyl was on a tight roll, they all curled up again *sigh*  They’re currently being squished under my rivet press – maybe this weekend they’ll behave enough for me to sew them together!

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Type up some patterns
  • Beat the tags into submission
  • Have a play with some fabric
  • Maybe get back to that bag.  Maybe not…

Have a great week all!
