Ahh, we had lovely weather on Saturday there, so I took advantage of having sun on a non-working, non-committed day and went out for a very long walk with my camera around the centre of Glasgow, following the mural trail, and adding in a few extra bits for good measure. I walked over 11 miles, since I started walking from my flat, and ended up with rather sore feet ;o) I also took part in the bi-annual #missingmarket event on IG, which as well as uncovering some long forgotten gems in my WIP pile also gave me the appropriate kick up the posterior needed to finish writing up my Sewing Retreat pattern set as I was offering it as a prize! It will be officially launched later this week, so keep an eye out for that. On the sewing front I’m rather tied up in getting all my prep done for my bit in an upcoming quilt along (details of which to follow) where I have to video my part. I’m hoping to get the recording done this weekend as it’s a bank holiday here, so it will give me a chance to get all the bits covered, hopefully in a calm and rational way, as opposed to the slightly flustered and rushed way I usually end up videoing things (oh, and hoping to avoid the ice-cream van which I swear is actually out to get me every time I record something!)

This is as much as I can show you on the QAL prep, using my hoarded Lecien Flower Sugar:

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • A commission for Love Sewing
  • Recording that video
  • Who knows what else may wander across my cutting mat!

Hope you have a great week all!
