As the heat wave/drought rumbles on in Scotland, I feel less and less guilty about not going out in the sun when I have free time, so I spent the weekend sewing! I was going to have a go with some knits on my overlockers, but then I couldn’t find my thread. Quite how one loses a bag containing 12 cones on thread I don’t know, but I’ve searched everywhere I thought it could be and nada. So I ordered a load more, and switched projects until they’re delivered next week! I got some super secret sewing done too, but I can’t possibly tell you what that is otherwise it won’t be a surprise for the recipient ;o)

This is what will eventually be some clothes, when the thread turns up. It’s cut into its constituent parts now ready to go anyway.

And this is all of them that I’ve sewn so far, although you’ll need to wait to see the rest ;o) I have 3 applique blocks left to finish – the pieces are all prepped, I just need to sew them down.
