My ever so nice boss signed off on my days off, so I spent a long weekend down in the North East of England, visiting friends, taking photos and getting sunburned! I got some quilty inspiration at the Baltic Centre in Gateshead where they are hosting part of the Great Exhibition Of The North. I’d encourage anyone that’s vaguely in the area to pop down, it was very interesting. Now to find the time to translate inspiration into fabric, but alas, the day job required me to go back to the grind today, so I’ll ponder it for a while. Yesterday I took my gran out to lunch so we could enjoy the sunshine down the Clyde at Ardardan, so I’ve only managed to sew 12 triangles together this week, but at least they’re pretty triangles! This weekend is a Killearn one, so lets see how much further I can get my baby clams…
