Ahhhh, it has cooled down a little and even precipitated a bit on Sunday (I have to admit to having enjoyed the brief spell of rain, it felt rather calming and tranquil). I had a quiet weekend before gearing up for a few busy ones in the next few weeks – on Sunday I’ll be taking my gran and 2 friends out for afternoon tea (after which I may need strong drink) and then the following weekend kicks off my commitment to the European Championships here in Glasgow, which runs (for me) until the 5th August. And when I say quiet I actually mean that I sewed up more sections of My Supersized Small World (only 2 half panels and a flower garden to go), filmed a video for the Friendship QAL (if anyone can answer the question of why it takes about 4 hours to film something that will take about 5-10 minutes on playback, I’d love to hear it!) and planned out 3 patterns for Sew Now magazine. Quiet is relative ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What about you, are you summer prolific or a summer sloth? (don’t worry, I won’t judge either way!)
Finishes This Week:

In Progress This Week:
The video I recorded on Sunday, which still needs to be edited down for publication.
The Sew Now projects are super secret as usual, sorry!
But here’s the My Supersized Small World bits that I worked on this week. I repurposed one of the factory blocks to create a mill by flipping the ‘building’ pieces to make them water around the 2 tone wheel:

- Maybe sneaking in a little more MSSW
I love how your are making your small world personal to you . I have fallen by the wayside rather in reading blogs , Blame blogger, but I hade been listening /watching to knitting podcasts . They say it takes 10-12 hours to make a 1hr podcast. Still a podcast even though it’s watched
