It’s been a busy old week round these parts trying to complete magazine projects on time and also take my gran and her friends out to afternoon tea on Sunday. This was part of her Christmas present, as she’s had 3 vouchers to use to take 2 friends out with us to a hotel or similar. Last one was a picnic, but this time we were in a nice country house hotel down in North Ayrshire where we had a very nice tea, complete with some yummy soup that I’d have quite liked the recipe for! Despite the skies being pretty grey over the last week (although not that cool!) I brightened things up a little with some wee blocks for My Supersized Small World – no more applique for this top now, it’s piecing all the way home! This weekend coming sees me gearing up for the European Championships, which I start work at on Sunday, so I may be a bit quiet for the next couple of weeks :o)
