Whew it was another busy week, which included taking my gran out on Saturday and a decadent second trip to Killearn on Sunday for our regular monthly meeting, so I wasn’t entirely prolific, although I did use FPP to resew 12 blocks I did in January for the Rainbow BOM before doing this month’s blocks (which used them) because I hadn’t been 100% accurate free piecing them the first time around and it annoyed me! I have some free weekends coming up though, where I intend to play with a few things I’ve been pondering for a while, so I’m looking forward to seeing what comes out of them. How about you? Have you had some of the same bad weather that we’ve had and used that as an excuse to get some mileage in on your sewing machines?
Finishes This Week:
I typed up last week’s Sew Now patterns, you’ll just have to wait a while to see them!
In Progress This Week:
Here are my rainbow triangle BOM blocks for October – we’re at the stage of joining the triangles made in the first 6 months into bigger pieces, and the bits I redid were the centres of these blocks, hence it took a wee while. Only 2 more months til we see the full thing, I’m a little impatient to see how it’s all going to work out!
I’ve also pulled the fabrics for a couple of charity blocks, so hopefully I’ll get them done tonight.
To Be Worked On This Week:
- Nothing scheduled, it will be all based on my sketchbook and the fabrics I’ve got plans to fondle
Have a great week all!
I love this quilt so hard.
