Phew, we finished the longest course on earth at work on Monday (I mean, it was 6 days, but it felt like the longest ever even if we did get to play with Lego the first day)  I also got some blocks done for #getyourquiltywishesgranted4 on Friday night/Saturday and played in the autumn leaves and an enchanted forest on Sunday, you know, your average week really!  This Saturday I’m going climbing for the first time in ages, so that should be fun, I just hope I can still hold a rotary cutter afterwards!  How about you, did you have a fun week?

Finishes This Week:

These 4″ heart blocks are off to @kakiofhoneyhill for a secret project she’s planning on for after Market this weekend (free tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew):

These cat blocks (free tutorial from Catvent with Elizabeth Hartman) are going to @makingwhatever so she can finally make a quilt for her poor daughter:

And finally this mariner’s compass block is for @deirdre_peyton who is making a pirate/nautical themed quilt for her dad who’s undergoing cancer treatment at the moment.  Drafting this block let me destress from the course last week!

In Progress This Week:

I’ve worked out all the measurements and instructions for the large version of last week’s finish, so hopefully this week I can get started.

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Retaining hand functionality
  • Starting on the large rolltop rucksack

Have a fab week everyone!
