I’m done, done, done with work for the year, oh happy day! Saying that, I’m spending my first day off cleaning, so perhaps less happy, but once it’s clean I can sew and do whatever else I like *contented sigh*. I did get some sewing done this week, a couple of Tomtes and then my gran’s Christmas present, which I won’t show you just yet in case it’s one of the days when she’s got her iPad onto my blog page ;o) How’s your holiday making going? Are you doing any, or have you decided to go the bought present route to save your sanity?
Finishes This Week:
None
In Progress This Week:
Here are my Tomtes for this week, along with the last 2 I’d done. I’ve decided I’m going to make a cushion with 3 rows of them, each row with a different sky colour and each block with a different Tomte:

To Be Worked On This Week:
- Sewing the front and back of my gran’s present together
- Whatever else wanders across my table after I’ve cleaned (who knows what I might unearth!)
Hope you all have a fabulous week and that Santa’s good to you!
Your Tomtes are fantastic! They’ll make a wonderful holiday cushion. Be sure to post a finished photo of said cushion.
I’m one of those people whom everyone on the gift list expects handmade presents so I’ve been busy trying to come up with something for everyone on the list. With less than a week before the big day I’m not sure I’ll finish everything in time.
Enjoy your time off from the day job and best wishes for a happy holiday.
That’s going to be a fabulous cushion. I still need to do binding when I finally finish the class play….which I have yet to write.
