I think I’ve got the January blahs. You know, where Christmas is well and truly over and the time between now and your next holiday is a loooong time off, and the last one no longer feels like it happened recently. There was a guy in the gym yesterday morning who was ‘Happy New Year’ing everyone because it was his first time in since December and I think I looked at him like he had two heads (there’s a cut off of a week after the fact, right?) Anywho, meeting up with my peeps in Killearn last Saturday was a bright spot, and I was able to plod along with a WIP that’s a good 4+ years old now (it’ll be a WIP a while longer, but I’ll pick it up at Killearn every month until it’s done, hopefully by about March on the top) This weekend I get to joys of my annual appointment with HMRC’s website, where they will have their annual snigger behind their computer screens and tell me I owe them nothing. How about you, have you anything more exciting planned than taxes?
Finishes This Week:
I got a couple of shower caps made, tutorial available here:

In Progress This Week:
This is a really old pic of the WIP I was working on in Killearn. I have 6 1/4 rows sewn together now (I started with 3 and the DP blocks aren’t sewn together yet)

I also cut up some vintage Melody Miller for a bag. I’m still pondering a couple of panels, but this should keep you going ;o)

To Be Worked On This Week:
- Taxes
- More of that bag
Hope you all have a great week!
Loving those Melody Miller prints… that’ll be a fun bag! What’s not fun are taxes. We’ll be sitting down to do ours soon. Hopefully, our refund will be paid. Depends on when this stupid government shutdown ends here in the US.
Blarg. I haven’t been sewing most of the week. Doing workout/bootcamp and super sore in the evenings.
