So as I mentioned previously, this last week was all about the day job, including almost all of the weekend, so I didn’t get any sewing done, but I did get some prep done on my ridiculous Alison Glass stash, so that when I get a free moment I can actually start chopping it up and using it! This next week is my birthday (on Monday) so this weekend I’ll be singing, with my parents, at Song School, which is part of Celtic Connections here in Glasgow. Hopefully I’ll get all my fabric prep done, and I need to make sure I have everything planned for the following weekend when I get to go to the rugby and then to see about getting My Small World quilted!
Finishes This Week:
Ha!
In Progress This Week:
So to my fabric prep. I first picked up a good starter on my Alison Glass rainbow about 15 months ago in some Black Friday sales, then when I decided to use it in my Rainbow Triangle Block Of The Month quilt last year, I had to ramp up quite quickly, since I needed 50 different colours in total! A few more sales followed, along with the pre-order of the 2019 Sun Prints from last week, and I ended up with 90 prints, which is slightly insane. Anywho, all of the ones used in the Rainbow Triangles were starched due to the potential for bias edges which I didn’t want to stretch, but now 50 of them are starched, I really need the rest to be the same. So I have been busy starching the remaining 40 half metres o.O

To Be Worked On This Week:
- Finish starching that rainbow (I’m down to the aquas now)
- Plotting how I’m going to use the rainbow (hint, at 45 odd metres of fabric, it will be several projects!)
Have a fabulous week all!
