Sorry for being MIA a bit there, work, rugby, travel and a nice little gremlin that gave me a denial of service attack for a couple of days last week (thankfully they didn’t hack in, just rendered me and everyone else unable to get in), oh, and a power cut on Sunday, meant that I haven’t had a chance to do a post for a couple of weeks, but I did get to spend a lovely time during a few evenings and at the weekend there coming up with 90 blocks for some of my Alison Glass (although since they’re only 4 1/2″ finished, we’re not talking a big dent here!) I’ve drawn them all up in Illustrator, calculated all my cut and finished sizes of each piece, and then I started to sew. And then there was a power cut, but hey, I have plenty of time. The bit that’s going to take a while is how I intend to set them all, which will probably involve paper piecing where each block that I’ve made is a section of the PP pattern. So, piece of cake ;o) On the plus side, the blocks are almost entirely in a position now that I could issue a pattern even without the setting, so when I do get round to that part, it should be easy to share…
Finishes This Week:
Niet!
In Progress This Week:
My #bearforscale thinks I’m a little nuts with the 4 1/2″ blocks, but he’s happy to supervise.

And here’s my next 4 blocks (note that I’m not making them in any particular order, I just sorted the patterns alphabetically by block name because it made them easier for me to find)

To Be Worked On This Week:
- More 90 days blocks
- Uploading some new products to the site maybe?
- Possibly getting back to that bag WIP that I was working on a few weeks ago
Hope you all have a fabulous week!
