I’ve been trying to find my inner zen this week after a slightly trying period of time at work, so I’ve tackled my Trinket Sew Along blocks with vigour, trying to get the top assembled. I’m about 80% of the way there, although I’ve discovered I’m short of 2 black squares (because of course when I started laying out the top half on my design wall, I didn’t start with the one black fabric that I had cut a few extra squares of, and then ran out of the wrong one) I’m hoping my order of another FQ arrives today (it may have a few friends accompanying it *ahem*) and that I get the last wee bit sewn together. I got My Supersized Small World trimmed, and now I have to hope I have enough of the fabric I want for the binding, keep your fingers crossed for me please!

This weekend will be spent with family, not least supporting my gran’s hunt for compost and her penchant for eating in garden centres ;o)

Finishes This Week:

You’re having a giraffe!

In Progress This Week:

Here’s part of the top half of my Trinket quilt, hopefully you can see where I’m going with it (I forgot to take any photos with my camera this week, this was just with my phone so I remembered what went where!)

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Finishing my Trinkets
  • Binding My Supersized Small World
  • Trying not to lose my grandmother in a garden centre

Have a great week all!
