Yay, the sun’s out! Boo, it’s hayfever season, and it’s really quite miserable at the moment. Given the somewhat related lack of sleep I wasn’t really up for much sewing this week, so I did some drawing of pattern pieces (for a mini quilt I’ve been procrastinating on for at least 4 years, so now was obviously the time to pick it up) and finished some secret sewing I’ve been picking up on and off for about 8 months. I like the final product, so I hope the recipient feels the same!

This weekend my mum will be up, so we’ll be spending time with my gran – I hope the sun and warmth hangs around long enough for us to be able to sit out in the garden for a bit.

Finishes This Week:

The secret sewing used the bottom 2 fabrics in this pile – I’d show you more, but then it wouldn’t really be a secret ;o) Hopefully I’ll be able to show you once it’s been received, assuming it fits.

In Progress This Week:

2 pencil drawing were never going to photograph well, so you’ll just have to trust me on them until there’s something more tangible to show!

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • When looking for the fabric I’d kind of earmarked for the mini quilt that I did the pattern sketches for, I unearthed 3 other WIPs I might do some work on this week
  • Spending time with mum and gran

Hope you have a lovely week all!
