So another week, another long weekend, so what else to do but launch myself up a hill in the pouring rain (because, bank holiday) along with a few other nutters from the gym? I also managed to finish off a top made of bee blocks from about 5 years ago and cut into 2 piles of fabric that have been planned for a good couple of years (because who wants to work on the WIPs already lying around?) At least these should be quick to make, so it’s like clearing the backlog before I hit some more difficult pieces again, right? (Do I sound convincing?)

Finishes This Week:

Erm…

In Progress This Week:

So here’s the 2 blocks I made, but due to weather restrictions I wasn’t able to get a photo of the completed top in anything but a folded state.

This little lot is now all chopped and ready to go, I thought it was nice and summery:

So having felt summer with that bundle, I then turned to this seasonal little line (which apparently I forgot to take a photo of other than this) – this should be super quick, it’s got 48″ blocks! But I’m waiting on a little fabric because I was short of 4 prints and the background (thankfully I was still able to find them online)

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Sewing up that summery quilt
  • Maybe getting to a little Tula
  • Planning how to quilt my ever growing pile of tops ;o)

Have a great week all!
