Well haven’t we just been having delightful weather in the UK in the last week or so! Thankfully we didn’t wash or blow away, and I was able to surf up to Killearn on Sunday to spend a day with the Stirlingshire Stitchers where I was able to trim a quilt I’d collected from Cath (aka Cumbrian Long Arm Quilting) on the way back from Festival Of Quilts ready for binding (which I had prepped but forgot to take with me)

Finishes This Week:

Yeah, nope!

In Progress This Week:

This is the Moda Building Blocks top which is now quilted (we’ll not talk about how far back in the photo archives I had to go to find this *cough* 3 1/2 years *cough*) Cath did a great job quilting it, and hopefully I’ll get it bound and a finished photo soon, rain permitting!

I picked up this Pandora pattern from Sew Quirky at Festival Of Quilts. So far her bits are fused together (the pom poms are to hide a slight booboo in terms of layering pieces) and when I work out the dimensions of what she’s going to live on, I’ll be cutting that out of the Mocha Dots linen that she’s lying on, then stitching her down with some fancy stitches:

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Putting Pandora in her new home
  • Binding my Moda Building Blocks
  • Joining my Christmas stars
  • Who knows what else will cross my cutting mat!

Hope you have a great week all!
