So fair to say that the return to the day job after my holiday has been, well, making me plan my next holiday! However, I did have fun at Nick Ball’s workshop a couple of weekends ago, and I do have a Saturday with the Stirlingshire Stitcher ladies coming up this weekend to look forward to, so hopefully sewing therapy will suffice for now.

Finishes This Fortnight:

Alas none

In Progress This Fortnight:

This is some of my progress at the Inspiring Improv workshop – as you can see, I’ve gone for my usual shy and retiring colours… I need to think more about what I want to do with the parts I made (there’s another set of bits I made later and forgot to photograph), but I need to do one project that uses my design wall at a time!

You may remember me mentioning the Gingiber Christmas quilt that I’d hauled our of WIP purgatory a couple of weeks ago. I finally have a plan of how I’m going to put it together, although maths stopped play for a wee while (I had other mental tasks I had to accomplish, so I’m afraid I abdicated for a few days). Can you see where it might be going?

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • More Gingiber Christmas (once I get a moment to add up some things)
  • Probably a bit of work on my Holiday Homies Baubles at Killearn
  • Sleep, I’m really hoping for a good night’s sleep

Hope you all have a great week!
