I had a lovely day in Killearn on Saturday with the ladies wot sew (and lunch, but we sew more) I even got the closest I think I’ve ever been to starting and finishing a project there, when I got 3 pouches part done and then finished when I got home that night. I am not a fast sewer, so this was a serious achievement! I have also started my gran’s Christmas scarf (long story, but they sent me the wrong yarn and I didn’t get the replacement through til last week) and I’ve done a fabric pull for a project to take with me at the end of the month to Geneva. Did I mention the Switzerland trip? I’m so excited!
Hope you all had a lovely week too.
Finishes This Week:
I got these wee kits from the late Simply Solids not long before they closed – Lecien jelly frames and a mixture of Cotton + Steel, Riley Blake and Tula fabrics, with some generic basics for the linings.

In Progress This Week:
I’m recreating the scarf on the left with the yarn on the right for my gran, although it’s only about a ft long at the moment.

I haven’t got a photo of the fabric pull, but it’s the 2 Far Far Aways from Heather Ross and a navy background. I think it’s going to be rather colourful!
To Be Worked On This Week:
- Finishing gran’s scarf
- My tax return (blech)
- Chopping up my HR project fabric
Hope everyone has a fab week!
