I’m back from spending a lovely time in Switzerland with the wonderful Juliet and family (with special thanks to the in house bakers and chefs for providing fabulous sustenance) After a couple of days of sewing and fun with friends, I then got to spend a few days exploring Geneva, plus a day up in the Jura in the snow for my birthday. I’ve got about 1,500 photos to try and sort out, but I will get to them soon. I got all my platypus bits sewn whilst I was there, and then assembled them all into a full platypus top over the weekend there before I came down with the lurgy which I’m still suffering from – boooo!
Finishes This Week:
Yeah, no.
In Progress This Week:
Here’s my bouncing baby platypus. I’ve taken all the papers out and I’m now trying to work out how I’m going to quilt him. I’m thinking a denser background and a little ditching on him, perhaps with a double layer of batting – any thoughts?

To Be Worked On This Week:
- Getting better
- Quilting the platypus, once the thread arrives
Hope you have a great week all!
