So the ickiness has continued this week, but I now have a carrier bag full of drugs to try and fix things (well, a bit less than a carrier bag full now!) To that end I still didn’t get a ton of stuff done on the sewing front over the week, but I did do a bit of tidying and sprucing up round here both on the blog and on the shop side and launched a newsletter (sign up over in the sidebar) and made myself into a Facebook shop too (which apparently will mean that I can then be an Instagram shop, or at least one where you can click directly to buy something rather than have to go hunting) so it wasn’t a total loss.
Finishes This Week:

In Progress This Week:
I have now quilted round the outlines of my platypus parts in clear thread, and the thread arrived yesterday to start on the background, so hopefully I’ll get that sorted this week. I’ve done a double layer of batting so that hopefully he’ll puff out a bit with the heavily quilted background (photo below is pre-quilting as you can’t see any difference now)

And this lot has been interfaced ready to be made into some pouches soon.

To Be Worked On This Week:
- Quilting a platypus
- Maybe making some pouches
Hope you all have a fabulous week!
