Well I don’t know about round your way, but we’ve had a week of pure sunshine and blue skies here, which is pretty much unheard of in Scotland, especially at this time of year. Sod’s law dictates that we can’t go out and enjoy it right now, but I can bask through my living room window for a while each day! Maybe it will even deign to come back once lockdown is over…

On the sewing front, after a marathon cutting session I got all my Plaidish blocks cut (that’s 147 blocks out of 158 different fabrics, in case you were wondering, and it still doesn’t seem to have dented my stash one bit!) I’ve now started sewing them together, and I’m having fun spotting all the fabrics I’ve had for a long time mixed in with some newer prints.

Finishes This Week:

You’re having a laugh!

In Progress This Week:

Here’s Plaidish so far. I have lots of fun prints going into my quilt – as well as the glasses, narwhals and arrows seen here, I also have hidden about some birds, bicycles (but not one on the other), bees, dragons, bugs, feathers, stars and hearts, plus a few more I’ve no doubt forgotten about at the moment!

I’ve also been stocking up on things I’ll need to make Blue Mountain Daisy’s Pockets Full Of Posies quilt:

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • I shall just keep plaiding along

Have a great week all!
