Whew, never mind the pools and gyms reopening, if this weather doesn’t let up we may be able to take up swimming outside our front doors (and I live on the 1st floor!) Still, I suppose it makes one feel marginally less guilty about staying in and sewing though, right? This Saturday I will be getting my first haircut in nearly 6 months – I never thought I would get to the point in my life where that was the pinnacle of my excitement for the week (it’s also been the pinnacle of my gran’s week having her hairdresser come back) How about you guys, have you been up to anything exciting? Or are you now embracing the mundane as joyous activities?

Finishes This Week:

This is the first block of the Tattoo Quilt Along, which I just scraped in under the wire for this month! I’m doing this from my ridiculous solids stash (which doesn’t seem even remotely dented after 1 block)

In Progress This Week:

This is what I’m using to make Cuddles The Hexie Bear for a new little one. I’ve got a nose and muzzle done so far, and am currently trying to work out the optimum head and ears layout from the remaining strips. The larger piece of fabric will be the backing:

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Hexing along towards a bear
  • Shrinking my hair a bit

Have a great week all!
