This last week has been a lot about packing (can you tell I’m excited for my holiday?) but I did get a chance to finish my new laptop bag. Now I have 2 laptops kicking around at home (the work one and my own one) I needed another bag for toting them around, so I rehomed last week’s wee dug onto the front of the new one. It was a great exercise in diving into my stash and using up the good stuff. The outer fabrics (dug aside) were from a wee shop in Austria that I visited 3 years ago on holiday and are home decor weight, plus some Tula Pink stripy bias binding I got somewhere a few years ago for the piping. For the lining I delved into my Echino and pulled out some of my favourites, while I used some leather strapping and leather press stud that I’d picked up for a just in case sort of occasion.

Finishes This Week:

One new laptop bag. I took photos of the lining pockets before sewing them in because I knew I wouldn’t be able to capture them well afterwards. The front striped section is divided for smaller things, then there’s a middle pocket for papers and the padded back pocket for the laptop. The outer front pockets are gusseted.
