So I have to say, I didn’t have the greatest amount of creative energy this last week. I’m not sure why, but after putting my kitchen back together after the great boiler replacement of ’20, I just wasn’t feeling an urge to play with anything, and I don’t know why. Possibly because it’s darker, gloomier and wetter outside now, the nights are drawing in and it’s getting somewhat chilly. Possibly because my downstairs neighbour unfortunately died, and now it feels a little odd and empty (which is ridiculous in an urban area with nearly 2 million people in it!). Maybe it’s the ongoing locked-downness where we’re back to not being meant to travel outside our area (so no going to take photos of autumn leaves in beautiful countryside locations this year. Or possibly it’s that I’m a bit knackered right now – could be from going back to the gym, or a combination of all of the above. Either way, I managed to starch 6 lots of fabric before I ran out of starch (more is on the way) and then chopped up what I’d starched. I looked vaguely at a video on how to crochet. I stared somewhat moronically at a screen for quite some time, occasionally making notes for a project. I washed a bunch of quilts. I packed some orders. And that was about the sum total of my weekend.
Finishes This Week:
You’re having a laugh
In Progress This Week:
Aforementioned chopped up fabric – can you guess what it’s going to be?

To Be Worked On This Week:
Who knows?!
Have a fabulous week all!
Well, you know sometimes the creative mojo just needs a bit of time to recharge. I’m sure you’ll soon be firing on all cylinders again. Take care.
