Sorry for the prolonged radio silence, but I’ve been more than a little consumed of late with getting everything together for my Featherweight Basic Maintenance Class last Saturday and my mum’s birthday the weekend before, so there wasn’t much sewing going on. I did get to enjoy my first Saturday back at Killearn a couple of weeks ago though, and took advantage of the big floors there to baste my Plaidish quilt. On Sunday and Monday this week I quilted it – let’s say I went with organic echo quilting, since it’s quite challenging wrestling a nearly 100″ square quilt through a domestic machine ;o)

This coming week, although I have other projects to finish, I’m going to try and get my 4X Giant Kiss Quilt quilted – I basted it on our 1 between-lockdown Killearn last year and I want to get both it and my Plaidish quilt trimmed and ready to bind at my next Killearn on the 11th July…
