This tool can help you to remove rust and burrs on the steel parts of your vintage machine such as the hook assembly, bobbin case and tension discs. Containing an abrasive material to help you to smooth and polish out rough areas that would hinder the thread path, it should not be used on any polished chrome parts such as the faceplate, needle plate or stop motion knob.
To use, take the stick and rub firmly back and forth on the area that needs to be cleaned up.
